Charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast with a variety of options. The pool area needs maintenance and there were some cleanliness issues in the room. Great location for hiking nearby.

The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. The breakfast spread is just right and the tea time is a nice touch.
The decor looks like it’s been stuck in a time warp.

The room lacked warm lighting, making it feel cold and unwelcoming. Plus, the front desk staff were unhelpful, and the pool area was dirty. it just felt neglected and uncomfortable.

The room was clean and spacious, with a comfy king bed that made for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was decent—real eggs and bacon were a highlight, though one egg dish would suffice; pancakes would be a better choice. Staff were friendly, especially the breakfast attendant who kept everything stocked. the decor felt dated, and a torn lampshade and stained sofa made it less inviting. The air-conditioning struggled a bit, too. Pricey for the quality, especially on weekends. An enjoyable stay, but some updates could elevate the experience significantly.

The location is convenient, right near a disc golf course and only a short drive to hiking trails. The breakfast was below average, with limited options and poor quality. Rooms are spacious but could use some updates. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff made us feel at home during our stay. The parking lot is very dark at night, which is concerning.

The hotel is a commendable find. Cleanliness is paramount; this place delivers. The staff exudes warmth and professionalism, making the stay comfortable. Early check-in helped my family during a difficult hospital visit. The King Suite was spacious and serene, perfect for my active toddler. Breakfast? Fantastic assortment that invigorates the morning. Minor mishaps included a slow air conditioner and road noise—better insulation would be beneficial. The pool was closed for renovations, which was disappointing. these were minor inconveniences overshadowed by the attentive service and exceptional cleanliness. This gem deserves your attention if you’re searching for reliable accommodations. Would gladly return.

I enjoyed the amazing breakfast buffet with a variety of options, perfect for starting the day. The hotel offers excellent conference facilities, ideal for my important meeting. The shuttle service was a great convenience for getting around.
Who needs to know how to turn off the heating in a room anyway? .

I had a super enjoyable stay with easy access to fantastic spots such as the University of Virginia, just over 2 km away, and the beautiful Fralin Museum of Art, which is also within a short walking distance; plus, Trader Joe's and several cozy restaurants, like a well-known bagel shop, are all less than a kilometer away for when I wanted to grab a bite. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly courteous and professional, especially the breakfast attendant who created a lovely atmosphere. While the facilities could use some updates in some areas, overall, my experience was delightful!

The hotel's location was convenient for visiting UVa, with a free bus nearby. The staff provided a warm welcome and the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable, especially the coffee and pool access.
There were maintenance issues like a water leak that affected the lobby area and an elevator being out of service.

Great location for exploring nearby attractions! The staff were super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
It wasn’t budget-friendly, but it’s still reasonable for what you get.

This place was super clean and had everything we needed in our suite. Breakfast was seriously the best ever—so many choices like bacon and waffles. The staff were friendly and even took a family pic for us! Just a bit dated and there was a musty smell in some areas.

While staying at this charming hotel near the University of Virginia, my family and I enjoyed a delightful Presidential Tour exploring Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, James Madison's Montpelier, and James Monroe's estate at Highland. The complimentary Wi-Fi allowed us to easily plan our visits to these historic sites.
My wife says that clearer signage for family-friendly activities is needed.

The room had a layout that initially seemed promising. The kitchenette featured a full-size refrigerator and microwave, but was lacking essential utensils and plates. The bathroom was updated and clean, providing a nice touch. The bed, however, was not as comfortable as hoped – the pillows were flat and the sheets felt scratchy. Noise levels varied; at times, maintenance disruptions were notable. The lack of tables made it cumbersome to dine comfortably on the sofa. While the indoor pool had potential, cleanliness issues detracted from its appeal.

The staff was very accommodating and remembered me from a previous stay. They assisted with laundry when my grandson got ill. Breakfast had a nice variety including waffles and biscuits. The location was easily accessible from the interstate, which was convenient for exploring the city.
Some things in the room were not functioning properly, like a bedside lamp and the phone. There were also instances of non-guests idling cars near rooms.

My friends and I had a blast visiting Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and James Madison's Montpelier while staying at this cool hotel near UVa. The Wi-Fi was super handy for sharing our adventures online!
Wish there was a more happening nightlife scene nearby for us young party animals! .

The king-size bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the plush carpeted floors that added a touch of warmth to the room. The bathroom was equipped with free toiletries, which was a nice touch. there were definitely some areas that could use improvement. The noise from the main road outside was quite audible at night, which made it a bit challenging for me as a light sleeper. It would have been great if the room had better soundproofing to block out the external noise. the lack of kitchen amenities was a bit disappointing. While we had a kitchenette, there were no cups, plates, or knives provided, which made it difficult to prepare simple meals or reheat leftovers. It would have been helpful to have some basic cookware or kitchen utensils available in the room.

english inn of was a delightful stay! the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my early check-in request, even offering a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a kitchen. the breakfast was amazing, and the staff members were very friendly and professional. the location and general comfort were top-notch. I also appreciated the option for adjoining rooms, which made our family gathering for a special event even more enjoyable. It was a truly memorable experience.
Nothing all good 😊
